Polished concrete is a multi step process where a new or existing substrate is mechanically ground, honed, polished and sealed.
We offer a minimal, random and full exposure to a matt, satin or glossy finish to achieve a specified level of apearance.
Honed concrete, also referred to as Grind and Seal, is a process where a new or existing substrate is mechanically ground, honed and sealed. Either a polyutherane or Epoxy topical coating is applied to achieve a specified level of appearance.
Etched Concrete is a process where a new or existing substrate is ground and then a minimal amount of concrete surrounding the aggregate is removed, The aggregate is then polished to achieve a leather-like finish and sealed to a specified level of appearance.
This process is performed using a special technique using no damaging acids, meaning it remains environmentally friendly.
When repairing concrete, we inspect the substrate for any imperfections such as holes, cracks, and gaps. These are then colour matched and filled/patched.
This prepares the floor for its next step, be that a new covering such as tiles, carpet, wooden flooring or a polish and seal project.
Floor levelling involves mechanically grinding and honing the existing substrate to achieve a level surface.
Any raised or lower sections are evened out, this prepares the floor for its next step, be that a new covering or any concrete polishing project that is desired.
Often when an existing floor is removed, there is adhesive and other coatings left on the substrate. This needs to be removed to have a level surface to install/begin the next flooring project.
Removal of adhesive or other coatings involves mechanically grinding and honing the top layer of the substrate. This results in a clean, level surface. Any imperfections are then repaired.
To rectify water or flood damage to a concrete substrate we mechanically grind and hone the surface. The substrate is inspected for any holes, cracks, imperfections, and structural soundness. The issues are rectified to ensure the surface is as level as possible.

- Using concrete that is already in place to achieve a desirable and unique finish, that will withstand time.
- No hazardous chemicals - the process can be a completed using of water based products only.
- All the products we use are sourced from local suppliers and all Australian made.
- Working with local concretors using Green Concrete for freshly poured concrete polishing projects.
- Re using dust - all dust can be taken to a concrete mixing plant to be re used for pipe cleaning or your local recycling point.
